1. CERTIFICATION & RECOGNITION

Is the Treeming certificate internationally recognized?

Yes! Treeming.org is proud to offer internationally recognized certification. Our training is accredited by leading professional bodies like ICAHP and IPHM, and our graduates successfully guide Forest Bathing sessions across Europe, North America, Australia, Asia, and more.

Yes, after certification you can confidently offer Forest Bathing walks, wellness sessions, retreats, and nature-based programs professionally and independently.

Yes. To date, every Treeming graduate has successfully used their certificate to launch a recognized Forest Bathing offering and obtain appropriate insurance for participants. After completing the course, we’re also happy to support you with guidance on insurance, documentation, and professional setup, should you need it.

No. Your Treeming certification is valid for life. There are no annual renewal fees or mandatory recertification requirements.

2. COURSE STRUCTURE & FORMAT

What is the format of the training?

The training is 100% online, flexible, and self-paced. It includes more than 140 video lessons, worksheets, printable materials, and interactive exercises.

Yes, there’s a final questionnaire with reflections and practice session ideas. It’s not a test in the traditional sense, but a gentle assessment of your learning journey.

The course is completely self-paced, allowing you to study whenever and wherever it suits you best. While you’re not required to attend any live Zoom sessions or group meetings, personal support is always available if you need it — we’re here to help you every step of the way.

There is absolutely no rush. You can complete the certification entirely at your own pace — whether that means a few weeks or several months. We deeply encourage you to slow down, enjoy the process, and take time to immerse yourself in the practices.

Many of our students find that forest bathing is most impactful when experienced gently and mindfully — and we believe your learning journey should reflect that same sense of calm, reflection, and integration.

There is no deadline and no expiration date for submitting your final certification materials. This way, you can return to the course when it feels right, repeat the exercises as often as you like, and truly let the experience shape your personal rhythm.

You receive lifetime access to all videos, PDFs, updates, and the student portal. You can revisit the content anytime.

It’s up to you. Many complete it in 4–8 weeks, while others take a few months. You set your pace.

3. LANGUAGE & ACCESSIBILITY

What language is the course in?

The main course is in English, but we also offer a Spanish version, and many videos come with subtitles. A French version is currently in development. Looking for the spanish version? Here it is!

Yes – we accept final submissions in English, Spanish, German, and French as well. We also have native-speaking team members available for support.

How much does the course cost?

The full Professional Certification Package is normally priced at $599 USD. For just a view days we are offering a limited anniversary discount of 30% off.

We believe nature should be accessible to everyone. By focusing on digital learning and minimizing overhead costs, we can offer high-quality training at an affordable rate. In-person trainings are often priced 3–4 times higher.

No. There are no hidden fees. Your course price includes full access to the training, all learning materials, personal support, and the certification process. There are additional courses about enhanced marketing tutorials for an additional fee but you don´t need that for certification. 

No. The certification assessment is fully included in the course price. There are no exam center fees or additional certification costs.

Yes! You can pay in 3 or 6 monthly installments with full course access from the start.

5. PERSONAL VS PROFESSIONAL PACKAGE

What’s the difference between the Personal and Professional course?

  • Personal Package: Perfect for your own growth and mindfulness journey, without certification.

  • Professional Package: Includes all personal content plus extra modules, business strategies, practice resources, and an official certificate.

Yes! If you choose the Professional Package, you’ll receive all of the content from the Personal Package, plus many additional lessons, exercises, videos, and deeper guidance specifically designed to prepare you as a Forest Bathing Guide. It also includes access to the final assessment, your internationally recognized certification, and practical tools to help you launch your own sessions.

Unfortunately, no.

The Personal and Professional Packages are structured differently and have separate content paths. The certification process is only available through the Professional Package, and cannot be added on later.

If you’re considering guiding others in the future, we recommend starting directly with the Professional Package. You’ll have lifetime access and can move through the course completely at your own pace — giving you the best of both worlds: flexibility and full qualification.

6. AFTER CERTIFICATION

What title can I use after certification?

You can call yourself a Certified Forest Bathing Guide or a Certified Nature & Mindfulness Trainer.

Yes – many of our graduates have successfully registered their practice with public liability insurance providers. Our course includes a section on legal safety, liability, and documentation, created in collaboration with certified professionals.

Absolutely! You’ll be invited to join our alumni community, receive updates, and gain access to additional resources. We also organize optional retreats and advanced workshops.

Is the certification suitable for mental health professionals, educators, or wellness coaches?
